YORK, NY. - York senior catcher Brodie Hatfield signed his National Letter of Intent today to play baseball for Kansas Wesleyan (NAIA) in Salina, KS. Brodie is a 3 year varsity player for the Golden Knights baseball team. During his Junior campaign he had a batting average of .400 with 7 documented throw outs to 2nd base.
The Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes plan on using Hatfield as catcher for the four years he will be there. Brodie credits his success to his mom, dad, coaches and all his classmates who have supported him throughout the years.
Brodie is excited for this next chapter in his life. He hopes that now, with his future plans set, he can focus on the rest of his senior year and the dream of bringing a Sectional block home for the YCS baseball team.
